Battlefield 3's Newest "Fault Line" Episode Will Blow Your Mind Again

Besides last month's Game Informer issue, GDC 2011 was the first time anyone actually saw the game in action when EA and DICE showcased the game at a conference. Obviously, your mind was blown like the rest of the world because how stunning the game looked and ran.

EA and DICE have released yet another trailer, under the "Fault Line" gameplay series, with more gameplay. The new trailer shows your squad evading a sniper that's using a .50 calibar. With nothing, but assault rifles and a rocket launcher, it's up to you to draw him out and take'em down in the most epic way ever.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword's GDC Trailer

With news on Nintendo's keynote being a tad late, expect more of it a little later since we've been a little behind with the news this week. With a bit coming from the keynote at least, Nintendo has showcased a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, showcasing how combat is going to play in the next upcoming game in the best and old franchise ever

Shadows of the Damned to raise hell June 7

Today at the Game Developer's Conference, EA and Grasshopper (who are collaborating for this title) announced that Shadows of the Damned will release this summer, on June 7th.

In case you don't know anything about this game, let's fill you in! Suda 51, the man behind cult hits such as Killer7 and No More Heroes is behind this game, but that's not all if that gets you interested. As some know, Shinji Mikami, the man behind the legendary survival horror franchise "Resident Evil" left Capcom after Resident Evil 4 for better things. The same goes for Akira Yamaoka, who had worked on the music for the Silent Hill franchise when he was employed at Konam, who left after Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Little did we know, it had been confirmed that all 3 will work together and collaborate with EA to make this; Shadows of the Damned.

Shadows of the Damned had been announced at last year's Tokyo Game Show, aka TGS 2010, but not much has been revealed since, besides it's first trailer:

During the unveiling of the game's release date, it's been said that Shadows of the Damned was inspired by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez films, such as Grindhouse. They also stated that it will "forever change the way gamers perceive puzzles, combat, and action.".

As a fan of all 3 and fun over the top awesomeness and hilarity, I want to see more of this as time goes on!

Atlus USA's Catherine Announcement Trailer

As reported today, Catherine has been announced to be released in the West this year this summer. Previously, Atlus stated that there were no plans to localize the game just yet, but boy did they lie! The game is already released in Japan, but what's more to ask than to have an actual English trailer for the game? The team behind the highly successful Persona games are stepping their game up with their first game for an HD console.

As far as story goes, here's the synopsis:

Vincent likes his girlfriend. Katherine's pretty, smart, and successful. Trouble is, she's starting to talk about long-term commitment, something Vincent's spent his entire life avoiding. Since romantic complications are the last thing he wants to deal with, Vincent meets his friends for their regular night of drinks. Little does he know that he's about to be blindsided by a beautiful, seductive, irresistible freight train named Catherine. Suddenly, he's hung over in bed next to the most beautiful woman he's ever seen, unsure about the previous night's events. Was it just making out, he wonders, or did something more serious happen between them? Should he tell Katherine? Will he ever see Catherine again? Vincent's about to find that a stumble on the staircase of love can turn into a horrific, fatal plummet...

Honestly, all of Atlus USA's localizations of games have been the best and stand out to other localizations I've seen and I can't wait to get my hands on this one!

Ninja Gaiden III's First Teaser Trailer

Having been announced back at last year's Tokyo Game Show, not much has surfaced since then, besides the fact that it was at least being developed by Team Ninja. Obviously, they're most known for developing the old-school and new-school Ninja Gaiden games, along with the Dead or Alive series.

Again, not much has really surfaced, other than just now! For GDC (Game Developer's Conference), they released a teaser trailer. Again, much like the picture above when it first got announced, not much is seen. The only good thing about it is that the game industry is going to see the first gameplay of the game during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3.

For those who don't know, Tomonobu Itagaki left Team Ninja just a couple of years ago to form Vallhalla Game Studios. This'll be the first Ninja Gaiden game without him on board.

Having played Ninja Gaiden from the olden days, I'm looking forward to this and WILL play it when it comes out. I'm prepared for some rage quitting with this one, ha!
