Shadows of the Damned to raise hell June 7

Today at the Game Developer's Conference, EA and Grasshopper (who are collaborating for this title) announced that Shadows of the Damned will release this summer, on June 7th.

In case you don't know anything about this game, let's fill you in! Suda 51, the man behind cult hits such as Killer7 and No More Heroes is behind this game, but that's not all if that gets you interested. As some know, Shinji Mikami, the man behind the legendary survival horror franchise "Resident Evil" left Capcom after Resident Evil 4 for better things. The same goes for Akira Yamaoka, who had worked on the music for the Silent Hill franchise when he was employed at Konam, who left after Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Little did we know, it had been confirmed that all 3 will work together and collaborate with EA to make this; Shadows of the Damned.

Shadows of the Damned had been announced at last year's Tokyo Game Show, aka TGS 2010, but not much has been revealed since, besides it's first trailer:

During the unveiling of the game's release date, it's been said that Shadows of the Damned was inspired by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez films, such as Grindhouse. They also stated that it will "forever change the way gamers perceive puzzles, combat, and action.".

As a fan of all 3 and fun over the top awesomeness and hilarity, I want to see more of this as time goes on!
