Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Officially Announced, Teaser Trailer Included

With all the recent outtings and rumors of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, there's no doubt about it that it was coming, but hey, guess what? It really is! Surprised? Not really? Yeah, me neither, ha! With all the crap ton of pictures, screenshots, voice overs, and concept art, it was pretty damn hard not too turn your head away in anticipation, but it's here!

Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward, has tweeted this over at his official Twitter account, @fourzerotwo:

Wasn’t planned, but you’re clearly hyped, so here is the 1st of many Modern Warfare 3 videos coming in hot today! #MW3

Before the official quote was a link that took you right to the very first teaser trailer, depicting America, still under attack, but we see New York City, with missles taking over the city skyline and heading into the streets. Last, but not least, we hear someone speaking in Russian. Take a gander at the world's most anticipated game!

I'm expecting to see way more at E3! How about you?

Hitman 5 Reveal to be at E3 2011

Ladies and Gentlemen, that right there is your first teaser for the long-rumored and anticipated sequel in the Hitman franchise. Over at IO Interactive's Hitman forums, the community manager had kicked off and ARG (Alternate Reality Game) for a bit of viral marketing. With many clues and other images uploaded, such as part of the script, barcodes from the infamous Agent 47, the final piece ended up being this picture. Not much has been said since the ARG wrapped-up, except the fact that the game will officially be unveiled on the first day of E3 2011.

For more of IO Interactive's ARG for this tease, check out the official Hitman forums or look at NeoGaf's investigation into this mini-announcement

Ninja Gaiden III's First Teaser Trailer

Having been announced back at last year's Tokyo Game Show, not much has surfaced since then, besides the fact that it was at least being developed by Team Ninja. Obviously, they're most known for developing the old-school and new-school Ninja Gaiden games, along with the Dead or Alive series.

Again, not much has really surfaced, other than just now! For GDC (Game Developer's Conference), they released a teaser trailer. Again, much like the picture above when it first got announced, not much is seen. The only good thing about it is that the game industry is going to see the first gameplay of the game during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3.

For those who don't know, Tomonobu Itagaki left Team Ninja just a couple of years ago to form Vallhalla Game Studios. This'll be the first Ninja Gaiden game without him on board.

Having played Ninja Gaiden from the olden days, I'm looking forward to this and WILL play it when it comes out. I'm prepared for some rage quitting with this one, ha!

Modern Warfare 3 Announcement Incoming?, [UPDATE] - Activision says "it's a hoax"

Seriously, when you look at this, you have to think to yourself, "Yeah, Modern Warfare.' There's absolutely no doubt about it with the text as well. What's even more apparent is the fact that the URL that takes you to this is http://FindMakarov.com.

Kotaku does point out that within the timeframe of this countdown, when it ends is when the 2011 Game Developer's Conference begins.

If anything does appear, GamerzItch will keep you posted

[UPDATE] - An Activision representative has confirmed that it's a hoax.

Kotaku has reported that Activision has said "we are not revealing yet" and that "Anything indicating otherwise is a hoax." Kotaku has also pointed out that when the countdown ends is the first day of GDC where EA will be showcasing Battlefield 3.

Who knows if they're just hiding the truth or if this is EA's way of trying to poke fun at the Modern Warfare games. Gamerzitch will keep you posted!
