New Xbox 360 Dashboard In Action

Want to see Microsoft's new redesign of the Xbox 360 Dashboard? Well here you go, straight from the Kinect beta. While the new look is not nearly as drastic as their last update (Getting rid of the original blades and upgrading to the new slide system) it's still rather big. The tiles are the only thing to survive, otherwise the color, font, and menus give it a slicker, cooler look which I personally love.

Wow, just wow. I got chills and started shaking when I first watched this just a few minutes ago. If this does not make you excited for Marvel VS Capcom 3, nothing will. Anyway this trailer not only serves as some major eye candy, it also reveals yet another playable character in the game. Up to this point we've had

  • Captain America

  • Doctor Doom
  • Dormammu
  • Hulk
  • Iron Man
  • Super-Skrull
  • Thor
  • Wolverine
  • Amaterasu
  • Chris Redfield
  • Chun-Li
  • Dante
  • Felicia
  • Morrigan Aensland
  • Ryu
  • Trish
  • Viewtiful Joe

Now we can add one more fighter to that list. Tron Bonne from the Mega Man Legends series. Check out the glorious video below to see for yourself.

Kinect 250GB Xbox 360 Bundle Announced

Microsoft finally made an official announcement and confirmed the existence of a 250GB Xbox 360 Kinect bundle. The bundle which is launching November 4th includes a 250GB Xbox 360, built in wi-fi, a Kinect sensor, and "Kinect Adventures" for $400.

On the same day the Kinect hardware will be launching on it's own for $150 and the 4GB Kinect bundle for $300. Another option is buying the 250GB hard drive for the S version of the console, but even that is $130 making this most recently announced bundle the best deal. Of course you could also just buy an Xbox with a regular controller, but really, controllers? That'll never catch on.

Dead Rising: Case Zero Downloaded Over 300,000 Times

Website GamerBytes is reporting that the downloadable prequel to Dead Rising 2 has now been downloaded over 300,000 times. This means that even if Microsoft is their alleged 30% cut of all profits then Capcom is still pocketing an approx $1.15 million.

Capcom has sinced announced on their blog that these numbers are not "official" but serve as an early indication of success. Now the question remains is this going to be the gold standard for game demos? Or if Dead Rising 2 underperforms will the blame be placed on the $5 Demo that had just to much to offer?
