L.A. Noire Getting Exclusive PS3 DLC

DLC seems to be the norm nowadays and without a doubt, it seems like it helps with the sales of ceratin versions of games. Much like Rockstar's last game, Red Dead Redemption, it will be included with exclusive content on the Playstation 3 version that the Xbox 360 version won't have, titled "Consul's Car Traffic Case."

There has been no official announcement of this at all, but a Rockstar Games representative has stated, "Look for more details on that, coming soon"

New Sonic the Hedgehog Game in the Works

Sonic the Hedgehog will be getting another new game to commemorate his 20th anniversary. Sega revealed this new game via Sonic's Facebook page. A teaser trailer reveals Sonic running along at his speedy pace, through a nearly colorless landscape of loops and hills. He then meets up with his old friend, Classic Genesis Sonic.

What exactly could this mean, seeing as how Sega regestered the domain SonicGenerations.com and Sonic-Generations.com it's seems fairly obvious that this is the trailer for Sonic Generations. It's set to be released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 sometime in 2011. We'll keep you up to date as we learn more, approaching the speedster's 20th birthday.

Microsoft to test out new Xbox 360 disc format

Before we start, no it's not Blu-Ray and it's been confirmed. Anyway, confirmed by Digital Foundry, Microsoft is set to test out a new disc format for people in North America. Unfortunately, Microsoft has closed off the sign-ups for eligible testers really quick. As for being a tester, Microsoft will be sending copies of Halo: Reach, which most people presume actually is the updated disc format.

As far as details go on the disc, it is said to give developers 1GB added to the dual-layered DVD, so that more data can obviously be added. Many sites, including myself, are assuming that this may be a newer way to eventually catch people who have pirated games and modded their Xbox 360 consoles.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow "Reverie" DLC Delayed for Xbox 360

Reverie, the first of 2 DLC for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has released for the Playstation 3. What about Xbox 360? Well, unfortunately it has been delayed.

Joystiq reports that from the game's official Facebook page has announced this with an official statement:

Unfortunately, the "Reverie" DLC for 360 has been delayed due to a last minute issue which we hope to have fixed shortly.  We understand that this news may frustrate you but please know we are working with Microsoft to resolve it as quickly as possible and give you the level of polish you deserve. We will update you as soon as a release date has been finalized and appreciate your continued patience.

Before this delay, the Playstation 3 version of "Reverie" had also been delayed, but it just seems odd that the Xbox 360 will be getting this at a later time. Who knows what's going on, but hey, at least it's not cancelled!
