L.A. Noire, one of many people's most anticipated game of the year is finally coming out. When? Well, it's coming in just a few days; on the 17th! With some stores opening up at midnight for the early birds to get their hands on the game, it's hard not too get excited for Team Bondi's damn good looking game.
With that, Rockstar Games has released a launch trailer for the game. Check out, enjoy, and get your detective skills up while you wait in anticipation!
Just yesterday, Rockstar Games has released new screenshots for the upcoming Max Payne 3 and in my opinion, they're a little reassuring. It's actually the reason why the screen I put right below the title of the story to show that Rockstar may know what they're doing. We will definitely be seeing Max's troubles overcome him over time, which leads him to the "Bruce Willis" look that he has gotten in its earlier screenshots that we've seen.
I honestly thought that we would be playing as Bruce Willis-Max, but even seeing from the screen right above, we'll be at least playing through moments of his life before, we can assume at least, where he will begin to go on a downward spiral.
L.A. Noire sure is coming in hot! With more and more gameplay videos being released, as well as the release date getting near, it's hard not to get pumped up with this awesome new game being released by Rockstar Games.
Working in the police force is a pretty damn hard job, but like most jobs outside of the force, you get good things out of it. In L.A Noire, you'll be going through 5 different ranks in the L.A.P.D; patrolman, traffic detective, homicide, arson investigator and vice cop. All of them will have you with a partner to help guide you through cases, show you the ropes and assist you in certain situations like investigating (obviously), shootouts, and fistfights.
As you move up in ranks, cases become more difficult, but as long as you do things right, and with the help of your partner, you'll rank up, but it won't be easy!
When cases are complete, you'll get ranked on how you did and be able to continue on with the story, but you can also go back and play investigations differently and see how different the outcomes can be.
You'll also be able to complete tasks from calls you get from dispatch as well!
I swear, I'm getting blown away more and more with L.A. Noire. In my opinion, this could be the best game I may play this entire year, just like Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar, you never disappoint (with the exception of Grand Theft Auto IV, in my opinion) with any of your titles at all.
L.A. Noire is set to release on May 17th on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
DLC seems to be the norm nowadays and without a doubt, it seems like it helps with the sales of ceratin versions of games. Much like Rockstar's last game, Red Dead Redemption, it will be included with exclusive content on the Playstation 3 version that the Xbox 360 version won't have, titled "Consul's Car Traffic Case."
There has been no official announcement of this at all, but a Rockstar Games representative has stated, "Look for more details on that, coming soon"
Like we expected since Rockstar Games' tweet that "He's coming," we were bound to get new info really soon. Although the issue hasn't been released just yet, of course, some have already gotten their hands on it, so we do have just a little bit of info of this long-awaited sequel.
With the use of the Euphoria engine in many Rockstar Games, such as Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption, it will be used in Max Payne 3 and it's being worked on to "blend the cinematic and interactive elements of the game into a seamless experience," as says Rob Nelson of Rockstar Vancouver, who is the art director for the game. As we know, Remedy won't be involved in Max Payne 3, but Rockstar will still have the core elements in the game from the previous installments, such as bullet-time, bullet-cam, dual-wielding, diving and shooting, and painkillers. It has been confirmed that there will be a cover system and multiplayer, but no word on that just yet.
The one thing that many fans of the games will be happy for because it was previously announced that he won't be back for it, but James McCaffrey, the voice of Max Payne, will reprise his role!
Still, I worry about how Rockstar will handle this installment, but it really shaped things up that, for at least, McCaffrey will be back. With no release date yet, here's hoping that we get the game soon.
