Kingdom Hearts III Gets Teased in Famitsu Magazine

Y'know...all Kindgom Hearts fans have been asking for this for YEARS. Today, those fans, get yourselves prepared to "Squee" just a little bit. Earlier this morning, IGN reported that Tetsuya Nomura, the man behind the much loved Kingdom Hearts franchise, most of his work for character design in a lot of the Final Fantasy games, and his much anticipated title, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, had a few things to say to Famitsu, Japan's top of the line gaming magazine.

Obviously, like most people are expecting, Nomura says that Kingdom Hearts III will the last game in the franchise that will include Xehanort. This won't mean it'll be the end for the franchise. In fact, Nomura says that it's being planned to have future titles as well with Sora still being the main character.

Nomura also states that the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (which was announced at the Square-Enix's 1st Production Department Premiere back in January), for the Nintendo 3DS, just may be the last of the many spin-offs that the franchise has has, will answer many questions that fans have wanted answers from.

Nomura has also hinted at Square-Enix looking into the tech being used for games that have been upscaled to HD...yeah, I'm pretty sure I know what you're thinking.

Anywho, it's kind of weird that after all these years, we're finally getting some hints about the 3rd installment of the game. I do find it a bit odd that after all this time, it was never mentioned that it was even in development to begin with. Oh well, at least we have something to get our hopes up!

Max Payne 3 Details Emerge From May Issue of EDGE Magazine

Like we expected since Rockstar Games' tweet that "He's coming," we were bound to get new info really soon. Although the issue hasn't been released just yet, of course, some have already gotten their hands on it, so we do have just a little bit of info of this long-awaited sequel.

With the use of the Euphoria engine in many Rockstar Games, such as Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption, it will be used in Max Payne 3 and it's being worked on to "blend the cinematic and interactive elements of the game into a seamless experience," as says Rob Nelson of Rockstar Vancouver, who is the art director for the game. As we know, Remedy won't be involved in Max Payne 3, but Rockstar will still have the core elements in the game from the previous installments, such as bullet-time, bullet-cam, dual-wielding, diving and shooting, and painkillers. It has been confirmed that there will be a cover system and multiplayer, but no word on that just yet.

The one thing that many fans of the games will be happy for because it was previously announced that he won't be back for it, but James McCaffrey, the voice of Max Payne, will reprise his role!

Still, I worry about how Rockstar will handle this installment, but it really shaped things up that, for at least, McCaffrey will be back. With no release date yet, here's hoping that we get the game soon.
