David Morrissey Slated To Play The Governor On AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’"

Today AMC has just announced that David Morrissey has just landed one of the most anticipated roles on  "The Walking Dead." Some of you my recognize him from his role in the David Tennant Doctor Who Christmas special "The Next Doctor." The British actor has been casted as "The Governor" who is bad ass the leader of the Woodbury settlement in "The Walking Dead" series who does some horrific things to Rick Grimes and some of the crew.

I honestly can't wait for Season 3 of "The Walking Dead" to see the level of emotion and fear Morrissey brings out in the character because boy oh boy was he something in the comics. If you guys haven't read any of "The Walking Dead" graphic novels I employ you to do so especially for this Antagonist. For more info on this news check it out here.

The Rumor Mill: Rocksteady's New Game Might Be A TMNT Title?

With the success of two Batman titles under their belt it comes to no surprise that Rocksteady Studios is looking for another property to shape and mold into one hell of a game. Well whispers around the interwebs are saying that this new game might be one focused on that of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Once again this is just a rumor but hell I wouldn't mind another TMNT game to boot up into my Playstation 3 and play as my favorite turtle Michelangelo. For more on this rumor you can check it out here.

Telltale Games developing "The Walking Dead" Episodic Game

With more Telltale Games news, they have just announced yet another series and I don't have to tell you because there's picture above this text that shows, but that game is "The Walking Dead".

This may be a little hard to believe, but we originally had an inside source telling us that there would be a game in development just a few weeks ago. Oh well...

Anyway, there have been first details revealed over at IGN.com in an interview with Robert Kirkman, the writer of the on-going comic book series. As far as we know, the games will be taking place in the comic book world, rather than the TV show world, which is a good thing for hardcore fans.

As far as the type of game it's going to be, it's not known yet since it's still in its early stages of development.

Release date? Nothing official just yet, but it's slated for a late 2011 release date and will be multiplatform.

Beenox to Develop Future Spider-Man Games

Activision announced earlier today that developer Beenox will helm all future Spider-Man games. This isn't really a surprise considering the fantastic job they did on "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions"

"We are thrilled with this opportunity to continue our close, collaborative relationship with Activision, Marvel and everyone's friendly, neighborhood hero, Spider-Man," said Dee Brown, Studio Head, Beenox. "Being able to map out Spider-Man's interactive future gives us the creative freedom to really craft the best gaming experience for the fans."

What will the next Spider-Man game be? I can only speculate and dream. Creative Director Thomas Wilson has expressed interest in doing more with the Noir or 2099 universe Spidey. *Fingers Crossed* I will say, if Beenox does even half as good as they did with Shattered Dimensions, I'll be there day one to pick the next one up.
