Telltale Games Developing Episodic Law & Order: Los Angeles Game

Seems like Telltale Games sure is pumping out episodic games like a powerhouse now, huh? With Back to the Future already a success and a few other games in develoment like The Walking Dead, Jurassic Park: The Game, Telltale sure is making a name for itself now, but that's not stopping them from getting more content for their adaptations.

Telltale has now picked up yet another property, and this one's coming from an NBC Show; Law & Order. "Law & Order: LA fits very well with the style of episodic entertainment experiences Telltale has been building since our very first days," said Dan Connors, one of the co-founders of the company. Law & Order: Los Angeles "take the crime solving focus to interrogation and criminal investigations, with a heavy dose of courtroom drama on each case," quoted from the official press release.

Like most of their release, Law & Order: Los Angeles will release on PC, Mac, Consoles at a later date in this very same year

13 Minutes of "Jurassic Park: The Game" Over at GameSpot's "On the Spot"

GameSpot's "On the Spot" is a live, interactive web show that is done weekly where news is talked about, games that are coming out, and of course, developers showcasing their upcoming games to the public and obviously to whoever watches the live show. Luckily, GameSpot managed to get Telltale Games with them to show off the upcoming episodic "Jurassic Park: The Game."

To make things shorter, it'll feature a "picture-in-picture" HUD that'll make things a bit easier to get from Point A to Point B, instead of walking around, going back and forth; more of a "shortcut" pretty much. We'll also be seeing some familiar places from the original film, including others that were mentioned, but never seen. After all, Jurassic Park, like in the film, was envisioned as a theme park, so there will be areas of the park that are unexplored.

At times, there will be consequences to your actions, whether you complete these tasks or fail them, so certain scenarios will be played differently as well! It's been compared to Heavy Rain in a sense, but it won't be entirely like that. There will also be gritty deaths, a first for Telltale Games, but you will be able to retry these moments to continue in the game.

With all this said, endulge yourself with this awesome 13 Minutes of dinosaur terror!

Telltale Games developing "The Walking Dead" Episodic Game

With more Telltale Games news, they have just announced yet another series and I don't have to tell you because there's picture above this text that shows, but that game is "The Walking Dead".

This may be a little hard to believe, but we originally had an inside source telling us that there would be a game in development just a few weeks ago. Oh well...

Anyway, there have been first details revealed over at IGN.com in an interview with Robert Kirkman, the writer of the on-going comic book series. As far as we know, the games will be taking place in the comic book world, rather than the TV show world, which is a good thing for hardcore fans.

As far as the type of game it's going to be, it's not known yet since it's still in its early stages of development.

Release date? Nothing official just yet, but it's slated for a late 2011 release date and will be multiplatform.

Telltale Games' "Jurassic Park: The Game" Debut Trailer

Best known for their episodic games that they release, with Back to the Future being the most recently relesed, they have Jurassic Park: The Game being developed. Details have been scarce, and still are, ever since the original announcement back in June. With no release date just yet, Telltale and GameTrailers.com has at least released a debut trailer for what looks like a top-notch adventure game. Check it out!
