Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection Arrives Late This Summer For $9.99

It's been a good year for the Mortal Kombat series, and it's only going to get better. Warner Brothers is going to deliver the Mortal Kombat Arcade Collection for Xbox Live Arcade, the Playstation Network, and PC late this summer. And what a collection it is, bundling Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
It only gets better from there, all three games will feature online play and leaderboards. Even more cause for joy, it will only cost $9.99.
It's possible that you may have already downloaded some of the original versions of this game already as UMK3 was a standalone game on XBLA, as was MK2 on the PSN. Both of those games got removed from their respective stores when Warner Brothers bought the rights to Mortal Kombat from Midway. So this is a good way to not only get those two on one platform, but also get the original game.
While the recent Mortal Kombat was essentially all three original games smashed together into an awesome revamp one can't help but get excited at the idea of replaying these three classic games for a relatively low price.
In addition to this awesome collection, PDP has created a special version of their already amazing MK fight stick with a new button layout tooled to the design of the old games. The stick will be sold exculsively through Gamestop and retail for $129.99. People who preorder the fight stick will recieve a download code for the game when it releases.
What say you Mortal Kombat fans, I know I can't wait to krush some skulls come summer.
