The Gamerzitch Weekly Wrap-Up for 5/27/11

News has been slowing down little by little each week. Why? Well E3 is coming up so every developer and publisher is getting ready to showcase games for the expo. However, that doesn't mean that things haven't happened all week. With a few cool tidbits this week, don't be alarmed. The rest of the big announcements will come in on the 2nd week of June!

• Our very own John Callahan reviews L.A. Noire
• Sony may be cutting out the PSP in favor of their NGP, but that's not stopping them from remastering PSP Games to play on your PS3 in HD
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets its premiere gameplay trailer. Yup, it's awesome
• The Playstation Store did not return on May 24th and still isn't up. Wonder when it'll be back up..
• It's done...it's finally done! Duke Nukem Forever has gone gold!
• We've waited long enough, but we finally get our first look at Dead Island gameplay - a full 12 minutes!
• Are you a Gears of War fan? Like a BIG Gears of War fan? Well then, get your replica Retro Lancer with your copy of Gears of War 3. Just be sure to cough up some extra cash though
• Call of Duty: Black Ops is still selling like crazy, which is why Sony has a new PS3 Bundle that comes with it!
• Square Enix is working on a new MMO, but what MMO could it be?
• The developers Turtle Rock Studios, the studio behind the Left 4 Dead games is now working with THQ to get another game going
• The next Ninja Gaiden installment gets some details out
• In this week's Variety Friday, Jake Livak talks about RPGs: how they've changed these days, how some may struggle in today's standards, and some that have even sticked to their roots.

The Gamerzitch Weekly Wrap-Up for 5/20/11

Why hello there! So how many of you picked up L.A. Noire? If not, why didn't you? If you did, how is it? Drop the comments on the comment section of this post. In fact, if you were to review it, what kind of score would you give it? Anyway, a few things happened this week, some cool, some not so cool, but hey, it should've at least gotten some people interested. To the news! Onward!

• Sony begins its rollout for its Playstation Network restoration
• Epic Games has revealed the Limited and Epic Editions for Gears of War 3
• OnLive gave out Amnesia: The Dark Descent for free! Guess that was a missed oppurtunity, eh?
  
• Sony has given out the details for its "Welcome Back" program after all the time the Playstation Network has been down
• Just when things were looking up, at the time, Sony's Playstation Network password reset system had been compromised
• Valve, yet again, has nothing to showcase at E3
• The Playstation Store may possibly return on May 24th
• After more than 15 years, Duke Nukem Forever will finally get a demo on June 3rd
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been officially announced, but will be getting its world premiere trailer really soon
• Alan Wake: Night Springs, is in rumored to be Remedy's new Alan Wake project...for Xbox Live Arcade?
• Gears of War 3 will have a world premiere Campaign trailer as well
• Dragon Age developer, BioWare, is looking for artists to work on Dragon Age III
• This week for Variety Friday, Jake Livak talks about Storytelling in Games
• Newcomer, Blamyris Cardona, has reviewed a game you never heard of: Recetear

The Gamerzitch Weekly Wrap-Up for 3/11/11

The weekend's here yet again! Game news has been a little slow, but we still got you covered with the latest announcements this week.
