The Gamerzitch Weekly Wrap-Up for 5/27/11


News has been slowing down little by little each week. Why? Well E3 is coming up so every developer and publisher is getting ready to showcase games for the expo. However, that doesn't mean that things haven't happened all week. With a few cool tidbits this week, don't be alarmed. The rest of the big announcements will come in on the 2nd week of June!
- Our very own John Callahan reviews L.A. Noire
- Sony may be cutting out the PSP in favor of their NGP, but that's not stopping them from remastering PSP Games to play on your PS3 in HD
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets its premiere gameplay trailer. Yup, it's awesome
- The Playstation Store did not return on May 24th and still isn't up. Wonder when it'll be back up..
- It's done...it's finally done! Duke Nukem Forever has gone gold!
- We've waited long enough, but we finally get our first look at Dead Island gameplay - a full 12 minutes!
- Are you a Gears of War fan? Like a BIG Gears of War fan? Well then, get your replica Retro Lancer with your copy of Gears of War 3. Just be sure to cough up some extra cash though
- Call of Duty: Black Ops is still selling like crazy, which is why Sony has a new PS3 Bundle that comes with it!
- Square Enix is working on a new MMO, but what MMO could it be?
- The developers Turtle Rock Studios, the studio behind the Left 4 Dead games is now working with THQ to get another game going
- The next Ninja Gaiden installment gets some details out
- In this week's Variety Friday, Jake Livak talks about RPGs: how they've changed these days, how some may struggle in today's standards, and some that have even sticked to their roots.
