Batman: Arkham City Trailer Reveals Catwoman as Playable Character

The E3 hype train isn't stopping and the thing is, E3 didn't even start yet! Not too long ago, this week, GameSpot exclusively got to reveal a new trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham City, the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum. In an interview with Dax Ginn, of Rocksteady Studios, revealed that Catwoman will be a playable character in the game.

With Batman you'll "be delivering justice on the streets of Gotham 24/7, but with Catwoman, you can take a walk on the wild side; take a break from being the defender of Gotham and indulge in a bit of super sneaky, stealth." With that, we'll also get to level her up and will have her own navigation system. With Catwoman having no cape, it definitely had to change how we move her around from place to place, so we'll be seeing some more of this, hopefully soon.

To check out the full interview, you can check it out right below. If you don't feel like watching the interview and only care about the playable character and her reveal, check it out right below the interview

Deus Ex and Eidos Websites Have Been Breached

Looks like the innocent aren't catching a break, especially with recent hackers. Now it seems like anyone could be a target in the game industry for whatever reason. Eidos's site and Deus Ex's official site have been hacked and leaving the message, as pictured above, with the statment "Owned by Chippy1337". Joystiq reports that a former Washington Post reporter, Brian Krebs, has gotten his hands from IRC Chat logs from the hacker group who have compromised users' information.

Square-Enix, owner of Eidos Interactive, has released a statement for the unfortunate event.

Square Enix can confirm a group of hackers gained access to parts of our Eidosmontreal.com website as well as two of our product sites. We immediately took the sites offline to assess how this had happened and what had been accessed, then took further measures to increase the security of these and all of our websites, before allowing the sites to go live again. Eidosmontreal.com does not hold any credit card information or code data, however there are resumes which are submitted to the website by people interested in jobs at the studio. Regrettably up to 350 of these resumes may have been accessed, and we are in the process of writing to each of the individuals who may have been affected to offer our sincere apologies for this situation. In addition, we have also discovered that up to 25,000 email addresses were obtained as a result of this breach. These email addresses are not linked to any additional personal information. They were site registration email addresses provided to us for users to receive product information updates. No dissemination or misappropriation of any other personal information has been identified at this point. We take the security of our websites extremely seriously and employ strict measures, which we test regularly, to guard against this sort of incident.

It's rather unfortunate with all of these hacker events going on, but we're just going to have to move on and change every little piece of our personal information.

Hitman: Absolution's First Teaser Trailer

Not too long ago, IO Interactive had done an ARG with the Hitman Community on their official forums, which then revealed this image, ending the ARG. After that, Eidos had trademarked Hitman: Absolution as the potential title for the new game that they have in development. Today, Eidos released a teaser trailer for the new Hitman game. Not much is seen until the end at least, revealing the iconic barcode as seen in the past Hitman games. Under the barcode, we see numbers, which, if you look at it backwards, reveals the date June 7th, 2011.

Be sure to check back on Gamerzitch during E3 to keep you up to date with this long-awaited sequel!

New Hitman Game Titled "Hitman: Absolution"

Hitman seems to be the new hype now since the first teaser pictures started coming up. Well, we were promised that at E3 2011, we'll be getting our very first look at a game, years in the making. We're not getting much until then, but it's not the biggest news out there, but the next Hitman game may have gotten it's official title.

Square-Enix has recently just trademarked the title, "Hitman: Absolution," for the long-awaited game. Originally going under the name Hitman 5, without a subtitle, it was long rumored for the game to even go in development since a few years ago, but for Hitman fans, all I have to say is, "Rejoice!!!"
