Bleach gets the Live-Action movie treatment

   

Yup you read the headline right ladies and gentlemen the popularand on-going Manga byTite Kubo is getting the big Hollywood treatment. ComingSoon.net broke the story moments ago and the Otaku community flipped the hell out. Bleach follows the exploits and adventures of  Ichigo Kurosaki a teenager gifted with the ability to see spirits. His life is changed  when he has a run in with the Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki who is on the hunt for dangerous spirits called Hollows. When Rukia is severly wounded in tracking a dangerous Hollow she transfers her powers to Ichigo and he takes up the mantle of Soul Reaper battling Hollows and guiding souls to the afterlife realm known as the Soul Society.

Ok let me be the first to say I saw this move coming years ago when Bleach first came out and then when it started to get bigger in the States. Warner Bros. is set to adapt the live-action Bleach movie with Peter Segal who directed 'Get Smart' as it's director and Dan Mazeau who wrote (Wrath of the Titans) is attached to draft the screenplay.

As an Otaku and advid lover of the Bleach series I'm half and half on wanting this project to  happen. I know it might end up being a crap fest but I still hope for something that will make me go "Yes.. i've been into this Anime and Manga before it was the cool thing to love. We will just have to see what happens. Until then I know alot of fellow Otaku who are none to happy about this news.

Starhawk Beta Public to All!

Valut Hunters Wanted: Borderlands 2 Launches Septerber 18

  Promising over 870 gajillion more guns,96.5% more wub wub and is 1000 degrees hotter, The Borderlands 2 trailer came out and it did so with "Guns Blazing." Borderlands 2 is set to launch in North America on September 18 and internationally on November 21st. Upon looking at the trailer I was highly impressed at the slick new look and the characters. Also seeing Claptrap shake is money maker to the music was pretty damn funny. 

Some pre-order bonuses were also shown in the trailer such as access to Borderlands 2 Premiere club. Access to the club grants you the Golden Key, the Gearbox Gunpack and the Vault Hunter's Relic. It's time to let the mayhem commence and the looting to begin.

Big Boss Wants You! Kojima Productions Hiring For The "Next" Metal Gear

       



! Out of the shadows and ready to stealth kill you out of nowhere Kojima Productions is gearing up to develop "the latest Metal Gear Solid targeted for high-end consoles and PC." The developer is looking for "Fresh new talent" outside of Japan to help shape and mold the new game for a franchsie me have all come to love.

Kojima Productions is going in the trenches looking for "engineers to help develop next-gen game engine technology for use with the FOX Engine." If you want to get in on the action and have the skills that can help "Snake" kill then the developer will be actively recruiting at next month's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. 
 
A list of the job listings can be found here for everyone to check out  on the official site.  Production on the next Metal Gear game will be developed in Japan and the United States. Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima has said in the past that he's interested in pursuing collaborations with Western developers which is why we are seeing this collab between the east and the west.

Goldeneye 64 in Real life

Have you ever wished and wondered how Goldeneye 64 would look like in real life? I know I have and upon surfing the nets I found this little gem so i'm going to share it with our dear readers. The crew over at Youtube channel Warialasky took it upon themselves to actually go the extra mile and put together an awesome video of what the game would look like out of the cartridge. I'd have to say they got this one right to the Tand they even manage to get that dreadful escort Natalya to safety mission. Grr now if only I could put a bullet into her and those lame slow movements of hers.... Oh wait I now can!
