You guys ready to roll out? Mass Effect 3: Special Forces Trailer

Late yesterday Bioware released a new trailer for the Mass Effect 3 Universe. In this trailer it takes a closer look at what the multiplayer and playable race classes that the third installment will have in it's online component.

Some of the playable races will include, Humans, Drell, Quarians, Turians, Asaris, Krogan and many more. Bioware has said that the multiplayer will enhance the single player portion of the game greatly when it launches. If you can't wait to get your Mass Effect 3 fix a playable demo will arrive this Valentine's Day Feb.14th.

The Art of Mass Effect Pre-Order Offer:

Do you love reading? Well how about the Mass Effect Universe? Well if you answered yes to both of these questions well then you my friend are in luck. If you pre-order the Mass Effect Universe artbook  through Barnes&Noble by January 23rd until February 20th you will receive a code to download extra game content for Mass Effect 3 on either PC or Xbox 360. According to Barnes&Noble the code will  include "The collector's rifle, among other cool content to beat out your opponents"  The offer is only available while supplies last so get it while it's hot people.

New Mass Effect 3 Details

New details for Mass Effect 3 have been released in the latest issue of German game mag GameStar. Some about the Reapers and others changes in the story.

• Entering Reaper territory will alert the Reapers and they will attempt to find you and exterminate you.
• Reaper territory will change as the story progresses.
• If a team member has died in the suicide mission, the story arc for that character will either switch to another character, be lost fully, or go in a different direction.
• The Normandy will be affected in the war with the Reapers.
• The Citadel has been expanded greatly and will feature characters you've met in Mass Effect 1 & 2. Also, many loose ends from Mass Effect 1 will be  tied up. Among them is the mystery of the Keepers.

I don't know about you guys but some of these details are impressive, mainly what is happening with the Citadel. Hopefully this good news overshadows the Freddie Prinze Jr announcement.

Mass Effect 3 will be on store shelves March 6th.

Mass Effect 3 The Collector's Edition.

Mass Effect 3 Will Have.....Multiplayer?

It appears that Mass Effect 3 will have a multiplayer component after all.

Bioware announced on Twitter that:

“There will be a multiplayer component for [Mass Effect 3]. Full details soon, so wait until then before making your decision. We think you’ll like it!”

After this reveal Casey Hudson of BioWare gave more info on his Twitter account.

“Yes, co-op MP missions for [Mass Effect 3]: they’re real, and they’re spectacular. Rest assured it’s nothing of what you’ve feared. More soon…”
