L.A. Noire Getting Exclusive PS3 DLC

DLC seems to be the norm nowadays and without a doubt, it seems like it helps with the sales of ceratin versions of games. Much like Rockstar's last game, Red Dead Redemption, it will be included with exclusive content on the Playstation 3 version that the Xbox 360 version won't have, titled "Consul's Car Traffic Case."

There has been no official announcement of this at all, but a Rockstar Games representative has stated, "Look for more details on that, coming soon"

Shady Business Happens in This New L.A. Noire Trailer

As the release date comes in closer and closer, Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for Team Bondi's newest game, L.A. Noire. In this new trailer, we see that, even back in those days, things can get really shady in and away crime scenes. Not to mention little meetings to "make a hit" against someone or someone being in on a plan!

Things are meant to be given justice on your side, but even then you can screw up a case and charge an innocent man. Check out the trailer to see what I'm talking about. Get blown away too, while you're at it, ha!

L.A. Noire's "A Slip of the Tongue" Pre-Order Bonus Trailer

Little by little, Rockstar Games is releasing trailers for Team Bondi's upcoming game, L.A. Noire, set to release on May 17, but these trailers quick glimpses of what the pre-order bonuses will consist of. In this trailer, we look at the Walmart exclusive pre-order bonus, "A Slip of the Tongue."

With more trailers getting released, I can only imagine that L.A. Noire is popping up in everyone's radar of "Day 1 purchases".

First Look: L.A. Noire's Investigations and Interrogations

Rockstar Games and Team Bondi have released a new Gameplay Series video for the upcoming and highly anticipated game, L.A. Noire. In this new gameplay video, Rockstar goes a bit more in-depth about how investigation and interrogating actually works in the game.

Of course, with facial animation (which looks absolutely stunning and realistic), you're going to have to tell whether or not your suspect is lying and telling the truth.

Sure interrogating is one of many things you can do as a detective, but investigating is also another thing you must do in-game. Looking for clues on objects, victims' bodies, and even how suspects tell their side of the story when questioning them. With all the evidence you have acquired, you can cut them off from whatever they're using as their scapegoat and put them on the spot.

Really, this is a fascinating take on games that I've seen in a while and is another reason why L.A. Noire has become a day one purchase in my book.

L.A. Noire is set to release on May 17th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Rockstar Games Announces L.A. Noire's Pre-Order Bonuses

As promised by Rockstar Games via their Facebook page, they have just announced pre-order bonuses for specific retail stores and, obviously, they differ from each other. From in-game police cases, to in-game suits, in-game weapons, and actual T-Shirt; it just may be difficult to choose, even for me!

Let's take a look at what GameStop, Walmart, Amazon.com, BestBuy, and Rockstar Games themselves want to give us.

GameStop

'The Naked City' Vice Case - In this bonus case from L.A. Noire’s Vice Desk, detective Cole Phelps investigates the supposed suicide of a stunning fashion model. Can you help Cole unravel the truth in a city blighted by drugs, corruption and greed, where the death of a beautiful woman is never as straightforward as it seems?

'The Badge Pursuit' - Hidden around L.A. Noire's beautiful recreation of 1947 Los Angeles are 20 police badges to find and collect. If you can find all 20 of these badges, the dapper Button Man suit will be unlocked which provides extra ammo for all weapons. Each badge also provides 5 additional XP which will help further unlock Intuition Points – special credits that can be used to give Phelps a key investigative insight when you need it most.

Walmart

'A Slip of the Tongue' Case - "A Slip of the Tongue" is a bonus case from the Traffic Desk in which a seemingly run of the mill car theft ends up sparking an explosive investigation into the largest auto fraud racket the city has ever seen. With the stolen cars piling up and questionable characters at every turn, can you help Cole Phelps crack the biggest case so far in his career?

Amazon.com

'The Broderick Detective Suit' - This unlockable detective suit boosts your fist-fighting capabilities and resilience to damage. Throughout L.A. Noire while working cases, you'll encounter quite a few suspects and persons of interest who prove to be resistant to arrest. Your hand-to-hand fighting skills will be called into action on these cases – the Broderick suit with its enhanced fighting abilities may be that edge in helping make that collar.

BestBuy

'The Sharpshooter Suit'- The Sharpshooter unlockable detective suit enhances your aim with rifles and pistols. Always a worst case scenario for any detective working a case, there are of course those occasions for Cole Phelps when pursuing a suspect escalates to gunfire. In these tense shootouts, the Sharpshooter suit provides that extra aiming precision to take the criminal down.

Rockstar Warehouse

'L.A. Noire T-Shirt' - Pre-order L.A. Noire through the Rockstar Warehouse, and receive a high quality, all-cotton official game t-shirt with your purchase. You can choose your desired shirt size when placing your order

So what'll it be for you? Which retailer do you think has the upperhand? Sound off!
