Extra Life's Donation Period is Almost Over!

UPDATE:  The donation period is almost over, so if you haven't, I encourage you to donate some money to help children.  If you need an incentive, both me (Jake) and John will both be giving away a Steam Game code or two to one of our lucky donors!

For those of you who don't know, this weekend marks the date of this years Extra Life, a fundraiser which "Raises money to help kids at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals" by asking the participants to raise atleast 24 hours, and then player 24 hours of video games, thus being $1 and hour.  A couple people from Gamerzitch, aswell as an old writer and frequent podcast visitor are doing this, and here are our pages for you generous readers:

Jake Livak

Allan Muir

John Callahan

Everyone has their own incentives for donators aswell as games they are going to play, so it doesn't really matter who you donate too, because either way it goes to a good cause.

ANOTHER Humble Bundle!

With the success of the first two Humble Bundles, it seems they are back again with Humble Bundle #3, or the "Humble Frozenbyte Bundle".  If you are not already aware of the Humble Bundles, it is a charity campaign in which there is a collection of games, and you can pay however much you want for them and they are yours, no DRM.  You can choose how much money goes to the four options; Frozenbyte, the developers of the games.  Childs Play, which is a charity to help give games and toys to children in hospitals.  EFF, which is "the leading civil liberties group defending your rights in the digital world", and "Humble Tip" which goes towards supporting the humble bundle by paying for server costs and etc.

This bundle includes the full games Trine, Shadowgrounds, and Shadowgrounds: Survivor.  Along with Splot which is still under development, and Jack Claw which was canceled before completetion.  You can get all 5 of these games for whatever price you wish and know that the money will be going towards a good cause.  The bundle has already raised over 600,000 dollars, so go help support it more with a small, or large donation.
