Beyond The Bounds: Zone Of The Enders HD Collection To Be Released This Autum

Many of you who know me have heard me rant and rave over Hideo Kojima' "Zone Of The Enders" series. One might say i'm a bit of a "Super Fanboy" and have told  many of you on the GamerZitch podcast or just in person about playing this amazing game series. Well just today Konami has announced that the Zone Of The Enders HD Collection will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this autumn.

Yes dear god YES! Sorry for the display of joy but I've been waiting for Konami to either produce "Zone Of The Enders 3' or just update the current two series for my next gen-consoles. The Zone Of The Enders bundle comes with the original "Zone Of The Enders" and it's sequel "Zone Of The Enders: The 2nd Runner."

Martin Schneider, General Manager for Konami Digital Entertainment states...

"We are looking forward to bringing the legendary Zone of the Enders series to old and new fans in a high definition form." Schneider also goes on to say "We are excited to offer these games on new platforms which will allow gamers to experience the drama and action of the Zone of the Enders like they have never seen it before."

Thank you Konami for giving fans like me the chance to relive one of the greatest and underrated game series of all time. Now with that said and done I will leave you with my favorite song/intro to the "Zone Of The Enders" series... Enjoy!

Jak and Daxter HD Collection Hits Store Shelves On February 7th With 100+ Trophies

Okay, right now I'm trying to contain myself due to the fact I've loved the Jak and Daxter game series ever since it debuted on the Playstation 2 over 10 years ago. Finally in just a few short weeks the Jak and Daxter collection will arrive in North America on the Playstation 3 for just $39.99. According to the Playstation.Blog where the story hit the game will include over 100+  custom Trophies created by Mass Media for all three titles in the collection to be earned.

Each of the three titles have been remastered in 720p HD and will have 3D functionality. If this trilogy sells well.. which I know it will, I'm hoping Naughty Dog decides to do the same with the Crash Bandicoot series. Get ready to see Dark Jak kicking ass and taking names yet again but this time in glorious HD.

Silent Hill Collection Coming in September

The HD remakes of Silent Hill 2 and 3 were announced as a collection during Konami's pre-E3 press event. Its existance was the only bit of information we got at that event, well now we have a bit more. Konami has just announced that the collection will be released this September.

Tom Hulett, Silent Hill producer, revealed in an interview with Joystiq that as of this moment the collection will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

"It's always been a primarily Sony platform series. So, right now we're just aiming at a Sony exclusive, which isn't to say [that] in the future it won't be available anywhere else, but right now it's a Sony exclusive"

The collection will also include "all-new" voice acting as well as trophy support.
