Rockstar Games and Team Bondi have released a new Gameplay Series video for the upcoming and highly anticipated game, L.A. Noire. In this new gameplay video, Rockstar goes a bit more in-depth about how investigation and interrogating actually works in the game.

Of course, with facial animation (which looks absolutely stunning and realistic), you're going to have to tell whether or not your suspect is lying and telling the truth.

Sure interrogating is one of many things you can do as a detective, but investigating is also another thing you must do in-game. Looking for clues on objects, victims' bodies, and even how suspects tell their side of the story when questioning them. With all the evidence you have acquired, you can cut them off from whatever they're using as their scapegoat and put them on the spot.

Really, this is a fascinating take on games that I've seen in a while and is another reason why L.A. Noire has become a day one purchase in my book.

L.A. Noire is set to release on May 17th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
